I’m Shannea Minell Santiago, a Strategic Communication graduate who cares deeply about how brands communicate and connect with people.

I’m interested in public relations, crisis communication, advertising, and marketing — especially where strategy and creativity work together. I enjoy thinking through how a message will land, how a brand should show up, and how communication can build trust instead of just attention.

Through my experience in campaign planning, healthcare communication, leadership roles, and digital media, I’ve learned how to stay organized, adaptable, and people-focused in fast-moving environments. I value structure, clear messaging, and being intentional about the way ideas are presented.

I’m especially drawn to industries like tech, gaming, beauty, entertainment, and health — spaces where culture and identity play a big role in how brands connect with their audiences. Long term, I hope to grow into roles that blend marketing and PR strategy, where I can help shape campaigns, guide messaging, and contribute to thoughtful brand direction.

Outside of work, I love traveling, gaming, content creation, and spending time with my family and dogs. These creative outlets influence how I think about storytelling and community — and remind me why connection matters in the first place.
